If Americans are racist then they aren’t very good at it.

1. What makes America a better than other nations is not that we don’t sin-but we try hard to redeem ourselves.

E.g. We had slavery and its aftermath but eventually we realized it was wrong and we abolished it. We had discrimination and worse but we have overcome it as much as a nation can do so.

Perhaps consider :

Everywhere you look you see affirmative action.

The people who earn the most money in this country are people of color.

The people who are the best educated are people of color.

Tlhe people who dominate the most prestigious professions are people of color.

The people who attend the most prestigious schools are people of color.

Perhaps you are right-but if we are bigots then we should leave the field to others who will be better at bigotry-we just don’t seem to be very good at it?
